ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Whitney Arends. In 2007, I started my career as an infant teacher while attending SMSU where I studied Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education. While attending SMSU, I worked in the SMSU Childcare Center, with all ages of infants, toddlers and preschoolers. After attending college, I worked in the corporate daycare setting as a Lead Infant Teacher, along with working as a nanny for multiple years. In 2017, I completed the Newborn Care Specialist course and fell in love with the newborn stage. With this certification, I am able to provide assistance to the mom with breastfeeding support and postpartum care. Along with extensive knowledge and support of your newborn's care on a nightly basis. Along with singletons, I have extensive knowledge with multiples and infants with disabilities. My plan for every family is to assist them with their newborn goals, their own post-partum goals and to support their family.
